Scoring Technology Manager

Salary Range: $48,000 to $52,000

Measurement Incorporated’s (MI) Scoring Technology Managers assist in the usage of technologies required for successful completion of large-scale, online educational assessments. They work with multiple departments to plan, track, implement, and revise these technologies in order to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and user-experience of MI’s performance assessment scoring products. They must be detail-oriented, able to communicate effectively, and have a strong understanding of educational software, technical support, and relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Creating, executing, and managing technical plans, including tasks, dependencies, and milestones, coordinating with multiple departments and MI leadership to establish viability, improvements, and rollouts
  • Managing schedules, timelines, and deliverables and reporting progress to technical staff, scoring leadership, project staff, and senior management
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues, as well as escalating issues appropriately to avoid project delays
  • Tracking issues, bugs, errors, and other inconsistencies, and working with development teams and scoring leadership to troubleshoot, report, and resolve the issues
  • Working with the technical development team to identify technology needs, contract requirements, and ensure all project requirements are met
  • Working with the quality assurance teams and development staff managers, scoring managers, and support teams to ensure technologies meet a high standard and improve MI’s abilities to complete our projects effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in a relevant field such as Educational Technology, Computer Science, etc.
  • Minimum five years of technical support, educational technologies, or relevant experience
  • Experience with web-based technologies or educational technologies preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Must be highly adaptable. self-motivated, and able to work at a fast pace
  • Handscoring experience preferred, but not required.

This is a full-time position and eligible for benefits including paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, profit sharing, and ESOP.
