The National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) has announced that they have a new digital Instructional Topics in Educational Measurement Series (ITEMS) module in their professional development portal. The digital module authored by Dr. Michael B. Bunch, Senior Vice President at Measurement Incorporated provides an overview of planning and conducting standard-setting. The module covers all practical considerations for this work in operational contexts without commitment to any particular method (e.g., Bookmark, modified Angoff, Body-of-work).
The module contains a wealth of resources, including a comprehensive manual, various Excel worksheets, PPT presentations, and other useful items. It is entitled "Digital Module 14: Planning and Conducting Standard Setting" and can be found on the portal homepage as well as the "Assessment Development" section of the module library.
