  • This is a full-time remote position

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct and/or replicate CTT and IRT psychometric analyses (e.g., item calibration, equating, scaling, item and test analyses, DIF, etc.) to meet key dates and deadlines
  • Generate quality technical documentation fulfilling requirements of contract deliverables
  • Provide consultation to support assessment designs and psychometric practices
  • Conduct research studies that align to MI’s organizational goals
  • Present analysis and research results to various audiences

Requirements

  • PhD or ABD in psychometrics, educational measurement/assessment, or related fields
  • Ability to independently conduct psychometric analyses under CTT and IRT (e.g., item calibration, equating, scaling, item and test analyses, DIF, etc.) to meet key dates and deadlines
  • Working knowledge of test equating, scaling, concordance, validity, and reliability
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., R, Python, and/or SAS) and solid data management skills with large-scale data
  • Experiences with psychometric software programs (e.g., Winsteps, PARSCALE, FlexMIRT, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on a variety of tasks and projects
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Additional Desirable Qualifications

  • Experiences with large-scale assessment programs
  • Experiences with computerized tests (e.g., CAT and/or MST)
  • Experiences with planning and implementing standard settings
  • Experiences with research, presentations and publications

Salary Range

The full-time salary is between $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience and qualifications
